The story is a science fantasy adventure film, directed by Ava DuVernay, and features Storm Reid – the 13yr old unlikely heroine who embarks on a cosmic journey to find her father, a missing scientist. The movie is based on the children’s book of the same name, published in 1962, written by Madeleine L’Engle. Storm joins an all star cast including Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Chris Pine, Zach Galifianakis……& New Zealand!
